We all know the feeling of coming back from our lunch break, half asleep and with no energy. And the worst part? Well that would have to be the fact that you still have hours left in the work day! Here are some ideas of things you can do on your lunch break that will get you fit and give you the energy to tackle the rest of the day.

1) Take a walk outside. It’s spring time and the weather is lovely so take advantage of this! It is not healthy to sit at your desk for 8 hours straight so go for a brief walk while you eat, talk with coworkers or even talk on your cell! You will come back to the office feeling very refreshed and ready to get your tasks done.

2) Walk or bike to your lunch. If you have healthy dinning options close to you, walk or ride your bike to them instead of driving. It saves gas and will only help your health. Plus, who wants to deal with traffic?

3) If your office building or complex has a gym that you can use, go for a nice workout! You can eat your food during your breaks or at your desk when you need a bite. People who work out in the middle of the day always seem to come back to the office full of energy. Plus, it is a great way to get rid of stress that may have come about earlier in the day.

4) Right a list of all of your goals for that week, month or year. Brainstorming such positive, inspiring ideas will give you that positive positive energy boost you need to finish the day strong.

5) Lastly, if you have this option, and live close to home, enjoy your lunch break at home! It is always a good option to get out of the office for a bit and relax.
