Below are three tips you can use to increase your productivity and improve your organizational skills.  The more you practice and use these skills, the more you’ll accomplish, both inside and outside the workplace.

Plan Your Day – At the end of your workday, prepare your work list for the following day. Or, better yet, plan and review tomorrow’s tasks the night before. When you prepare this way, your brain works on your plans and goals while you’re asleep. You wake up the next day ready to tackle your work responsibilities with more energy and creativity.

Schedule Your Time – Planning your day, writing down everything on your to-do list, and scheduling your time gives you a feeling of control and helps improve your productivity. Knowing you are in charge of your day brings a sense of satisfaction and increased self-esteem. You’ll feel better throughout the day and you’ll accomplish more.

Start Early – One of the best ways to boost your productivity is to start your day early. The more time you take to sit quietly, think and plan, the better organized you’ll be in all areas of your life. You’ll meet and complete the day’s challenges in a calm, clear, and organized way.

Taking the time to start early, plan your tasks, and write them down brings many benefits.  Not only will you feel more in control of your day, but you’ll find you’re more calm, insightful, and full of fresh ideas.
